The session was conducted in person and facilitated by Professor Kamel Dib for the benefit of the Steering Committees of both the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technologies (NHSAST) and the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB).
This training session followed the first edition, which was hosted by USTHB at its Bab Ezzouar campus. During that initial session, introductory topics were presented, including:
- Initial assessment according to the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- The ISO 9001 Quality Management System Steering Committee.
The second edition, hosted at NHSAST, witnessed the distinguished participation of faculty members, administrative staff, and executives from the Steering Committees of both institutions. The session addressed various practical methodologies and mechanisms for establishing an effective Quality Management System in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard within higher education institutions and national higher schools.
The training concluded with a rich and interactive discussion focusing on ways to adapt the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to the specific context of higher schools, as well as prospects for improving administrative and institutional performance to achieve greater efficiency and continuous improvement.
At the conclusion of this event, the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Steering Committees expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Professor Kamel Boujit, Director of NHSAST, for his commitment and continuous support in ensuring the success of this second training session. They also extended their thanks to Mr. Fateh Toufik, Secretary General, for his dedication to providing all the organizational and logistical resources necessary for the smooth running of the training and the achievement of its objectives.
