having started on the morning of Monday, January 19, 2026, at the headquarters of the Regional Conference of Western Universities (CRUO), located at the Central University Library of Oran 2 University “Mohamed Ben Ahmed”.
The training program spanned four (04) full days, from January 19 to January 22, 2026.
This training course was organized as part of the action plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aimed at strengthening quality assurance within higher education institutions.
The training was supervised by Professor Haroun Omar, Head of Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, renowned for his extensive expertise in quality management systems, and Professor Amine Allal, Professor at the University of Tlemcen and a distinguished trainer in ISO systems and standards.
The course was intended for faculty members and researchers in charge of quality assurance and ISO certification from 39 higher education institutions, selected as model institutions within this first national pilot initiative, and was held in the presence of the Permanent Secretaries of the Regional Conferences of Universities.
At the conclusion of the training, certificates of participation were awarded to all participants in recognition of their commitment and active contribution throughout the course, and the trainers were honored in appreciation of their expertise and professionalism.
