On 09 December 2025, a delegation from our institution — the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technology, headed by its Director Dr. Kamel Boujit, and accompanied by a group of professors and administrative staff — conducted a field visit to the Training Center of SEAAL (Algerian Water and Wastewater Company) in Kouba, together with third-year students (first year of specialization).

The visit resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement aimed at exchanging academic and practical expertise, strengthening scientific research linked to the economic reality, and meeting the needs of the national market.

The visit was carried out according to the following program:

1. Reception and Opening of the Visit:
The delegation was welcomed in the auditorium dedicated to training and events.
The CEO of SEAAL, Mr. Mohamed Reda Boudab, delivered a welcome speech, followed by a speech from the Director of our school, Dr. Kamel Boudjit.
Subsequently, the Assistant Director in charge of Information Systems, Communication, and External Relations at our school, Mr. Adnane Mourad, presented a brief overview of the institution, its specializations, and its vision.

2. Technical Presentations:
Three technical directorates from SEAAL delivered presentations highlighting key practical aspects of the company’s operations, notably:
– Inspection of wells and pipelines using field observation and endoscopic cameras,
– The use of mobile robots for pipeline inspection,
– Technical topics aligned with the academic programs taught at our school, including:
sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), measurement and control, automation, data acquisition, and real-time control.

3. Discussion and Practical Demonstrations:
An open discussion session allowed students to exchange questions and insights with SEAAL professionals.
This was followed by practical demonstrations showcasing the use of endoscopic cameras and inspection robots.

4. Visit to the Control Room:
The delegation visited the central control room, which receives real-time data from more than 8,000 sensors distributed across SEAAL facilities.

5. Visit to the Call Center:
The visit concluded with a tour of SEAAL’s call center, which operates 24/7.
