Within the framework of supporting scientific and technical activities and fostering a spirit of innovation among our students, the AST Club participated in the “Rumble” competition, hosted by University of Boumerdes, with the direct support and encouragement of Mr. Kamal Bouguit, Director of the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technologies. His support had a positive impact in boosting the students’ confidence and motivating them to face this challenge with high responsibility and ambition.
The club was represented in this competition by four complete teams, which worked on designing and building four combat robots after an intensive period of technical preparation and continuous training. The competition witnessed strong competitive spirit among various clubs and participating students, yet AST teams demonstrated remarkable readiness, discipline, and team spirit, allowing their robots to reach the final rounds.
This participation concluded with an honorable performance, as two AST teams achieved third and fourth place in the final ranking of the competition. This achievement reflects the members’ technical competence, ability to innovate, work under pressure, and strong collaboration.
This event represents an important milestone in the club’s journey and a step forward toward achieving even better results in future competitions. It also highlights the institutional support that encourages students to excel and innovate. The AST Club reaffirms its commitment to continue developing its skills and striving to raise the banner of our school, the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technologies, in various scientific and technological events.
