Under the supervision of the Director of the National Higher School for Autonomous Systems Technology, Professor Kamel Boujait, our school organized, on Thursday, 12 February 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in Lecture Hall No. 01, a scientific lecture entitled:
“Robotics Horizons: Transforming Agriculture and Medicine” The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Mourad Bouzit, a specialist in robotics engineering and an entrepreneur with an international academic and research career.
This lecture aimed to highlight the latest advanced applications of robotics in the fields of agriculture and medicine, while presenting the innovation pathway—from mechanical design and intelligent control, through data analysis, to clinical validation and real-world deployment. The speaker also presented research and applied projects he developed in research laboratories and start-ups across the United States, France, and China.
During the event, a number of pioneering experiments were showcased, including smart agricultural robots, autonomous irrigation systems, robotic solutions for medical rehabilitation, as well as assistive technologies for people with special needs. This reflects the growing role of robotics in supporting sustainable development and improving quality of life.
This lecture is part of our school’s program aimed at strengthening scientific openness and encouraging our students and faculty members to keep pace with modern technological developments, while opening new horizons for scientific research and innovation.
