Training course on first aid
As part of strengthening a culture of prevention and promoting safety principles within the university environment, the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technology organized, on Monday, November 24th, 2025, under the guidance of its Director, Professor Boujit Kamal, a training and awareness-raising course on first aid.
The event saw the active participation of the medical staff from the two university residences Maalema 1 and Maalema 2, officers and agents of the Civil Protection Unit of the New City of Sidi Abdellah, as well as volunteers from the Algerian Red Crescent.
This day included a series of practical workshops and demonstration sessions that enabled students, professors, staff members, and workers to acquire essential skills for rapid intervention, especially in cases of fainting, bleeding, choking, burns, and fractures. Civil Protection specialists and Red Crescent volunteers also provided detailed explanations on how to handle emergency situations before the arrival of the competent authorities.
We affirm that this initiative falls within the school’s program of scientific and awareness-raising activities aimed at promoting health awareness and enhancing the practical abilities of the university community. It also highlights the importance of such training sessions in saving lives and reducing complications in various emergency situations.
We extend our gratitude to all participants and commend the efforts made to ensure the success of this training day.
