Biography
Dr. Halima Lammari is an Assistant Professor (Maître Assistant Classe B) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technology (NHSAST), Algeria. She received her State Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering) from the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Algeria, in 2009. She obtained her Magister degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Design) from the École Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique (ENP), Algiers, Algeria, in 2012, and earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from USTHB in 2023. Her doctoral research focused on the integration of a Type-2 fuzzy controller for the control of magnetorheological vehicle suspension systems.
From 2009 to 2014, she served as a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering, USTHB, before joining the faculty as a full-time academic from 2014 to 2024. Since October 2024, she has been an Assistant Professor at the National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technology (NHSAST), where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics, automation, analytical mechanics, rational mechanics, continuum mechanics, strength of materials, industrial electricity, engineering drawing, and production systems.
Dr. Lammari has presented her research at several national and international scientific conferences. Her research interests include robotics, robot kinematics and dynamics, intelligent control systems, Type-2 fuzzy logic, mechatronics, vehicle suspension systems, and autonomous systems. She is proficient in MATLAB and SOLIDWORKS, and her work is dedicated to advancing intelligent mechanical systems through research, teaching, and engineering innovation.
