The National Higher School of Autonomous Systems Technology (NHSAST), a public higher education institution established in 2023 (Executive Decree No. 23-434 of 18 Joumada El Oula 1445, corresponding to December 2, 2023), has the mission of training highly qualified engineers in the fields of autonomous systems and robotics, including automation, mechanics, electronics, and intelligent embedded systems.

Operating in a constantly evolving scientific and technological environment, encompassing various schools and research centres, NHSAST is committed to developing an innovative education system, open to the socio-economic and international environment, in order to contribute to the scientific, technological, and industrial development of the country.

Within this framework, the School is committed to implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, aimed at controlling its processes, improving its performance, and ensuring the quality of its educational activities, while progressively developing its research and scientific cooperation activities.

The NHSAST Directorate is committed to:

- Ensuring high-quality engineering education based on updated programs, innovative teaching methods, and a strong practical component (tutorials, laboratory work, projects, and internships).
- Continuously improving pedagogical and administrative processes through a process-based approach, performance analysis, and risk and opportunity management.
- Strengthening staff competencies and promoting a quality culture based on responsibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Gradually developing scientific research, innovation, and partnerships with academic institutions and socio-economic stakeholders.
- Ensuring the satisfaction of relevant interested parties, including students, staff, socio-economic actors, partners, and supervisory authorities.
- Complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements in higher education, as well as with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

The Director is committed to providing the necessary resources for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, and to mobilizing all staff to support the development and academic standing of the School. The Director also ensures that this quality policy is communicated, understood, and implemented throughout the institution.
